It’s got that powerful kick, heavy melody and deep feel to it, in both the ‘Original Epic Mix’ and ‘Original Piano Edit’. ‘Deflagration’ blossoms like a night-black flower, adding a touch of mystery to the EP. It builds and rises, unfolding from progressive darkness to the the star-bright light of uplifting trance. Emotion is the key to these beauties, and that’s just the way A State of Trance loves it. Dutch producer Setrise gave ‘Deflagration’ a punch in the face, with an even harder kick and extra wave of energy added. Peak-time stuff!

I had the luxury of seeing FM when they couldn’t fill a 2500 seat theater. When I first saw this on HBO in 1981, I immediately went out and bought my? first VCR, a clangy two piece POS of that ran about $1500. I taped this concert.
It was worth every penny. I get goosebumps when I see this. STEVIE!!! After this show, the band was so impressed with themselves they were backstage saying “What a band! Who was that band?”
What I? wouldn’t give to see her perform…especially perform like this. She still performs flawlessly, but this..is just incredible.
